CCMN 2016 THROUGH JAM 2016
 
CCMN 2016 mainly focuses on those candidates who have qualified JAM 2016 examination.
  • Only Qualified JAM 2016 candidates of All JAM Test papers are eligible to apply through this mode.
  • The candidates will only be permitted to apply for the programme in which they have the valid JAM 2016 Score.
  • The merit list of the registered candidates is solely based on JAM 2016 score.
  • Candidates are required to pay a Registration Fee (RF) of Rs. 2000/- (non-refundable) to participate in CCMN 2016.
  • Candidates should fill all desired choices in the order of preference and lock it whenever sure. Once choices are locked, the same cannot be reversed. If the candidate does not lock the choices, the last filled choices are locked on the last date mentioned by CCMN 2016.
  • Candidates must upload all the required documents as listed below:
    • Valid JAM Score (Only Qualified) Card
    • Certificate showing Date of Birth (DOB Certificate [or] 10th Class Mark Sheet/Certificate)
    • 12th Class Mark Sheet showing the availability of Mathematics subject
    • Qualifying Degree Certificate showing the passing Class/Division/Percentage/CGPA (if result is published) [or] Course Completion Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Certificate in the format available in Annexure A1 (if result is awaited)
    • Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC with NCL), wherever applicable
    • PWD certificate, wherever applicable
    • Photograph (Check for the specifications given under the heading Photograph requirements)
    • Signature (Check for the specifications given under the heading Signature requirements)
  • Candidates have 2 payment options – State Bank Collect (SB Collect) & NEFT. Once payment done, the validation at our end takes 24 – 48 hours. (detailed information is available in “Payment Procedure” tab in the website)
  • Candidates will obtain a validated Permanent Identifier (PID) after successful payment of RF which is required at all future transactions of CCMN 2016.
  • Candidates can withdraw from CCMN 2016, with an option called “Early Withdrawal”.
  • There will be 2 normal rounds of allotment, Round 1 & Round 2 + 1 National Spot Round (NSR). The schematic flow is detailed in the “Flowchart” available in the website.
  • After allotment of seat in every Round, the candidate is required to pay Part Institute Fee (PIF)/Balance Institute Fee (BIF)/Full Institute Fee (FIF) to confirm the allotment and to be considered for upgradation in further rounds.
  • If a candidate does not pay PIF/BIF/FIF at any stage within the stipulated dates, the allotment stands cancelled and no claim of allotment arises.
  • Candidates will be upgraded to their highest choice of preference (throughout the counselling process) that was provided during Choice filling.
  • Candidates cannot choose to opt for a lower choice in between the allotment rounds.
  • Candidates can choose to Surrender the allotment after each round, when the candidate do not want to accept the allotment. In this case, the candidate can participate in NSR with filling fresh choices as per the available vacant seats.
  • Surrender can be done ONLINE with the OTP received to the registered mobile numbers. Therefore, candidates are required to provide proper mobile number and do not share the number/OTP at any instance to anyone. Mistakes arising due to such concerns is upon the responsibility of the candidate.
  • Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) will be issued to candidates who have paid PIF + BIF or FIF. The candidates are required to report to the Allotted Institute with all requisite documents and fees (if any) as per the date mentioned on PAL.
  • Once PAL is issued, the candidates should contact the concerned Institute for further queries.
